About
News about the Pennsylvania General Assembly, and what it means for your community.
Pennsylvania Politics is an independent civic project. We report on Harrisburg for everyone in Pennsylvania; the Pennsylvania General Assembly's records come next.
What we do
Sources and methods
Our stories are On My Block articles, each linked to the public records it draws on. The Pennsylvania General Assembly's own records (every senator and representative, the bills they file and their roll-call votes) come next. Those pages aren't built yet, so the site shows no member or vote data. Until then, the official sources are:
- The General Assembly: The official site of the Senate and the House
- Find my legislator: Your state senator and representative, by address
- Senate members: All 50 senators
- House members: All 203 representatives
- Bills: Every bill and resolution, with its history
- How to vote: Registration, mail ballots and polling places (vote.pa.gov)
